New customization features coming to Chromebooks Google is also adding light and dark themes to ChromeOS. Further, Phone Hub and Nearby Share will receive updates in the coming months to enable smoother cross-device communication. The launcher on ChromeOS has been redesigned, letting users find whatever they need with a press of a button. Google says that productivity apps like Canva, Figma, Adobe Express and FL Studio are made to work with Chromebooks. The new Cursive app enables users to capture, edit or organize handwritten notes, but this feature will only be available on stylus-enabled Chromebooks. The Screencast app will allow users to record, view and share transcribed videos on their Chromebook. The Gallery app comes with the PDF editing feature allowing users to fill out forms, sign documents, highlight text or add a text note to a document. And the launcher has been redesigned with some new elements. The new apps include – Gallery, Screencast and Cursive. ChromeOS is getting new productivity apps Besides introducing the new video editor, Google is also bringing some new apps to Chromebooks to increase users’ productivity.
